For its fifth edition, Textile Art International Triennial TexpoART proposes the concept of “Dream” as theme of artistic debate.
In an increasingly globalized and technologized society, dreaming constructively, with the eyes wide open, can be an invigorating alternative. Thus, one can imagine a more playful world, without aberrant labels, in which any beautiful dream can be fulfilled.
Artists are invited to express their own interpretation of this theme in a contemporary formula using any textile techniques and materials, traditional or unconventional. This « what if … » can make metaphorical references to social life, culture, nature, travels, feelings and personal aspirations etc.
The Textile Art International Triennial TexpoART is organized under the auspices of the “George Enescu” National University of Arts and Romanian Artists Union
