Open call for International Exhibition of Contemporary Art
Exhibition from August 2nd to September 3rd, 2023
Venue: ARTOUT Contemporary Art Ground – via Mercato Vecchio, 2 – Todi (Italy)

ARTOUT is an association based in Todi since 2019 committed to the promotion of contemporary art and aligned with the ongoing initiatives of this Umbrian town which has made culture its flagship. ARTOUT is one of the creators and organizers of TODI OPEN DOORS, an event now in its fifth edition and included in the collateral events of the Todi Festival.

In the spring of 2023 ARTOUT will inaugurate an Art Ground in the heart of the historic centre
with an interesting calendar of events and exhibitions including UNCLASSIFIABLE, an international group exhibition scheduled for August 2023 and for which ARTOUT has opened a call to select participating artworks.

The “non-theme” of the project is the impossibility of classifying or labeling art. It is therefore the hybrid or unique feature, the very nature of the artwork, it’s creation, it’s core idea and the gestures that have brought the genesis to completion.
As a result, maximum freedom is left to each artist in choosing form and content of the artwork to be presented so it may be consistent with his or her artistic research, poetics and practice.

Artists of legal age resident in the European Union can join the call, individually or collectively, including students of Art Academies.

The artworks must be of fixed dimensions cm.30×30
(including frame or support) or cm.30x30x30 in the case of sculptures or three-dimensional works.
They can be made with any technique and material (drawing, photography, painting, sculpture,
installation, mixed techniques, fiberart, etc.).

1 artwork each artist is accepted
Participation is free
The artist is fully responsible for withdrawal and secure of their artwork
The artworks will be on sale and 50% of the commission will be donated to the organization
