Organized by Tsinghua University, Academy of Arts and Design.
The 13th International Fiber Art Biennale “From Lausanne to Beijing” will be held at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in November 2025.
Launched in 2000, the Biennale “From Lausanne to Beijing” has become one of the most influential international exhibitions in the field of fiber art.
Rooted in the legacy of the Lausanne International Tapestry Biennale (1962-1995), our exhibition serves as a vital platform for global dialogue, experimental practice, and the cultural evolution of fiber-based art.
This year's theme explores the expanded dimensions of fiber art in response to changing material cultures, ecological ethics, and technological transitions.
How fiber – both as a medium and a metaphor – can connect the traditional to the future, the tactile to the digital, and the local to the global.
