The residency represents a key space-time in the work of an artist. Because Spain has know-how and tradition in the wool sector, ADAGP, Casa de Velázquez and National Furniture are joining forces to set up the 2e edition of the support system allowing a visual arts artist from the French stage to benefit from a three-month research residency at the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid.
This residency, designed as a research stay in the fields of wool creation, will be an opportunity to highlight the professions and know-how of this European sector facing major relocation challenges.
FOR WHO?
A French performing visual arts artist (working or residing in France for at least 5 years, or French national living abroad), in mid-career (i.e. at least 10 years of professional experience).
