Raija Jokinen- Solo Show

In this exhibition at Galerie Duetto in Helsinki, FI, I have 15 artworks from 2021-24 to show. They are mainly images of human beings in situations related to their environment, nature or themselves. I depict emotional and physical states and how they are related to our environment. Organic patterns, reminiscent of our physical being, intertwine and merge with shapes representing networks of roots and branches, without being specifically one or the other of these elements. It is also possible to interpret some of the works as comments on the current situation of nature, climate change and species extinction.

Postcards and a book entitled “Artist’s View Raija Jokinen” are also available in the exhibition.
