Raija Jokinen- Solo Show

In this exhibition at the Gallery Duetto in Helsinki, FI, I have 15 artworks from 2021-24 to show. They are mainly images of human beings in a situations connected with their surroundings, nature or themselves.  I depict emotional and physical states and how they are related to our environment. Organic patterns, reminiscent of our physical being, intertwine and merge with forms representing networks of roots and branches, without being specifically either of these elements. It’s also possible to interpret some of the works as  comments to the situation we have at the moment with nature, climate exchange and species extinction.

Also some postcards and a book « Regard d’artiste Raija Jokinen » are available in the exhibition.
