Festival du Lin et de la fibre artistique

Sónia Aniceto will present her work at the Église de la Gaillarde as a guest artist as part of the Lin Festival.

On this occasion, the artist will present TEIA, a monumental and immersive work installed in the choir of the church. This central piece will engage in a dialogue with the sacred architecture of the site. Combining textile delicacy and symbolic power, the work explores the tensions between heritage, identity, power, and the body.

A selection of works on paper will also be exhibited in another part of the church, offering a broader perspective on the artist’s work.

On Sunday, July 6th, at 4 PM, there will be a performance by the artist Maria João Flôxo centered around the work TEIA.
