Permanent exhibition: “Passerelles”
With the Ohého collective!
I present “Cairn” there
A cairn is an artificial pile of stones used to mark a particular location.
It is also a practice of trail marking.
The cairn can be used as a landmark.
The hiker also uses it to mark his passage.
Shepherds also make them during the transhumance of their herds.
Mountain cairns connect different walkers.
It's a link. A bridge.
Static. Fixed.
In a variable space-time.
This pile of stones is both precarious and stable.
In 2023 I made a series of small multi-colored wool Cairns. As part of the Land Art Festival 2025, I made a large Cairn (H 170 cm ∅100cm)
He marks the place with his presence.
In the colors of the rainbow, it is visible from afar.
Every day Open continuously
