From 16/09/2025 to 25/10/2025
As part of the Biennale Hors Normes
Using old photographs—scenes of meals, parties, vacations, and moments shared with family—the artist composes a flight of butterflies with fragile wings. Each image, cut out, sewn onto fabric, and enhanced with delicate embroidery, becomes a winged memory.
These memory butterflies float in space like so many memories that come to life, are transmitted and escape in a light movement. The ephemeral, the precious, the intimate: everything that connects us to others is embodied in this silent dance.
A work at the crossroads of photography, textiles and meticulous gesture, where memories become matter and wings, messengers of the past.
Meet the artist, Saturday, October 4th from 14 p.m.
SOUL BUTTERFLIES – workshop
In connection with the installation "Memories Have Wings," come make butterflies and give them a soul. We observe, we choose, we trace, we cut, we glue. If you wish, you can also sew or embroider. To make butterflies, you will find all the necessary materials on site, but you can bring one or more photos, one or more textiles that tell a story, that remind you of an event, an emotion, a memory
Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
