Thus astrology, illustrated by the zodiac medallions of Mai Tabakian, cartomancy, with the tarot cards of Clara Tissot, or even the call to mediumship and
clairvoyance, as through the fanciful character invented by Pablo Cots. Then, we question new forms of predictions: that, for example, that our smartphones generate when we write a message, and which Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos uses to create digital haikus. Fear of the future,
the anxiety of not being able to master this part of the indeterminate resisting any absolute relationship of cause and effect pushes some of us to see signs everywhere, to link the facts of the world through absurd and irrational means, as shown for example Céline Tuloup in her installation “Signes noirs”…]
