Visions nocturnes

In resonance with the exhibition “As we make our bed…” at Goethe-Loft until February 28, 2024.

For this opening of the artists of GEM Artame Gallery and Guy Dallevet et Adam Grassot, the two curators of the exhibition, will honor us with their presence.

Terrifying, exciting, surprising... Adjectives are lacking, as much as they are abundant, to describe the dancing images that inhabit our nights. Chasms of creativity, they are the source of another reality which is only said in half-words to be heard only in one ear.

From canvases to sheets, there is only one step... Both keep a trace, more or less wandering, of our night spent, of our dreamed life... But it is only by putting them on the walls that we fix these dreams: we fix them by looking them in the eyes, by showing them to others and by linking them with matter. These nocturnal visions are the source of our days, the cause of our creativity and our desire for freedom (“I have a dream” Martin Luther King).

This collective exhibition brings together several sleeping people to explore together, artists and spectators, these singular veils that only dawn knows how to lift, leaving our eyes filled with a particular sand of infinite colors.
