In this series we see the spirit of the “Cabinets of Curiosities”, where I seek a certain continuity between nature and art, naturalia and artificialia.
In my creations, in the series "Artefacta", (2016 - until the present day) my reflection is oriented towards artifice and the "wonders" which represented the main principle of the Cabinet of Curiosities and towards illusion , artifice, diversion and impure beauty, present in the Baroque spirit. These are objects made with hair, magnifying glasses and industrial stainless steel objects that I divert from their original function.
