“Have you ever seen an orange tree bloom? And have you seen the feeling that this inspires in you bloom? This inexplicable sensation in front of the so simple poetry of the world, we feel it without being able to express it. It invades the place at the same time as our thoughts. She weaves her invisible threads there, threads that sometimes vibrate according to memories. What if we could see them? If we could see the thousand colors of our emotions superimposed on the place that gives them to us?
In this kiosk, a place conducive to the gentle drift of our imagination, Lili Bel gives her interpretation of this phenomenon thanks to her woolen threads. The orange tree grows, blooms by the power of its taut threads, its energy diffuses into the gossamer structure of the kiosk. Spring and summer return to rub shoulders with autumn. The sons awaken and bear fruit. The floor of the kiosk itself blooms under the effect of a crocheted piece. The ephemeral of an outbreak meets long-term work. Time freezes, colors become fixed, space solidifies, here it is, the elusive moment…”
