My “Bauhaus Beauties” are crocheted sculptures inspired by the lives and work of Bauhaus women. The (wool) yarn is interwoven, grows wildly according to the principle of "direct cutting" and is crocheted to form a free and stable shape from the surface. The resulting textile sculpture abandons the principle of the time: “form follows function”.
