Gunta's Shadow
A paper wire work that belongs to the Gunta soft sculpture:
I am currently working on the work of Bauhaus women. The “shadow” is a two-dimensional braid of thread that represents the weaving system of warp and weft threads. Bauhaus women were mainly found in the weaving class. Inspired by the color studies of Gunta Stölzl, the colors and threads arise from the two-dimensional shadow and contradict the many absurd reservations of the Bauhaus masters of the time, who notably denied women a three-dimensional vision.
