STRAIGHT
Inspired by XNUMXth century painted arabesque panels and grotesques, I designed then embroidered with hair, gold and red thread on silk taffeta the front of this banner. I added pearls and sequins to it to make gold.
VERSO
Recomposition of white embroidery patterns and old embroidery on a bed sheet. The heart is arranged for embroidery from a drawing by Julie Saillant.
It is the back, at the size of the sheet, which gives the dimension to the piece.
The banner can be used for a procession-performance.
