In this relationship of intimacy with its habitat, I began to question the decorative motif and its support, the wallpaper. I diverted the motif by introducing intimate scenes that generally take place out of sight. I myself become the motif that I introduce into the design of the toile de Jouy. This is my intimacy, made public and visible on a wallpaper. Itself representative of intimacy since it is chosen for its interior. We do not see the same thing near or far. The action of penetrating into the structure invites us to look more closely at this concealed exhibition.
