Orion’s mantle: lichens under Betelgeuse’s light

In this work, I interweave the earthly and the cosmic, revealing a fundamental unity in existence. Through a visual and conceptual metaphor, I reflect on our position in the Universe and the interconnected nature of all existence.

This terrestrial constellation of lichens reflects the characteristic reddish light of Betelgeuse, evoking the grandeur of the cosmos and its own.

Through interweaving, I create connections between the microcosm and the macrocosm, contemplating our relationship with the universe in its entirety.
