Monumental wire sculpture presented at Fort l'Ecluse (Ain) as part of the exhibition tangle in duo with Hervé Bacquet from June 17 to September 17, 2023.
In the first casemate at the back, a sculpture endlessly searches for its center of gravity fifty centimeters above the ground, it undulates and becomes thinner on the walls. These shadows lie on the wall in long meanders that roll up on themselves and decompose: they are skin, weft and thread.
The projected shadow makes this sculpture a split world, a dialogue with the walls of the fort and with itself, but it is not a question of duplication or repetition because these projections are random and unpredictable. These shadows are a moving morphology and give flesh to this skeleton; they give it a depth, a sound.
