Contends with chaos and with the profound rupture we are experiencing in these times – the fracture of democracy, mutual responsibility, and the sanctity of human life. This dream now feels distant and elusive. In her search for solid ground, Danziger turned to the study of existential philosophy, mythology, and her family story – the cornerstones of her identity.
She states: “These works were born out of the gaps that emerged after an illusion shattered, out of intense emotions seeking release, but also out of hope that goodness will eventually come. I strive to capture the ungraspable, the ceaseless movement, and the fleeting moment.”
Her works shift between the personal, intimate, and hidden, and the collective, universal, and visible. For her, threads and the movement of the hand are not merely techniques, but a pulse connecting inside and outside, soul and body.
