It is morning and we are here 1-2

Sewn onto an old pillowcase while chasing seasonal work and living in my car with my ex-husband. It’s an embroidered record of good places to sleep, who I was writing to at the time, what I was reading and other little things. Because we were living in very cramped conditions and constantly moving having an embroidered journal was a way of making me feel at home no matter where I was. The title reflects the feeling of movement and arriving at multiple ‘here’s’ but not really feeling like you know where exactly ‘here’ is.
